CLEAR IT SECURITY Warranty Policy
CLEAR IT SECURITY is known for its legendary industry-leading high tech products, professional installation and repair services provided by sharp technicians with attention to detail and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever and equipment failure can be unexpected. A Clear IT Security warranty policy provides peace of mind that your equipment will be covered should a failure happen during the applicable warranty period.
CLEAR IT SECURITY Product Warranty
When purchased through an authorized CITS agent, products marked with our One-Year, Two-Year or Three-Year Limited Warranty are warranted to be free from defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use for the period of one year from date of original purchase. This warranty covers the labor and materials required to repair or replace the product but does not cover any costs associated with the physical removal or re-installation of product however these costs may be covered should failure occur within the installation labor warranty period. The second-year portion of any warranty period is pro-rated and subject to an average repair of replacement cost equal to a of 1/3 of the product’s retail price. The third-year warranty portion is approximately 1/2 the cost of the product’s retail price.
CLEAR IT SECURITY will, at its sole option, replace any defective product with the same product or one of equal or lesser value during the warranty term. Replacement products provided under here under are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of replacement for 90 days or, if longer, for the remainder of the original warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end-user purchaser.

CLEAR IT SECURITY Installation Labor Warranty
Most products sold by and professionally installed by CLEAR IT SECURITY also come with our 90-Day Limited Installation Warranty which covers installation workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days from date of original purchase. This warranty covers the installation labor and materials required to physically repair or remove, replace and reinstall the product but does not cover any costs associated with the repair or replacement of product however these costs may be covered should failure occur within the product’s Clear IT Security warranty period. A trip charge or service call charge of $75.00 applies to all requests for on-site product warranty service after 90 days from date of original purchase through the product’s CITS warranty length.
All products not purchased from CITS but professionally installed by CLEAR IT SECURITY cover installation workmanship under normal use for a period of 30 days from date of original purchase. After these 30 days any requests for troubleshooting, repair or service of your non-CITS product will be billed at there-in current hourly labor rates.
CLEAR IT SECURITY will, at its sole option, replace, adjust or remove and reinstall any product that is not functioning normally due to installation workmanship during the warranty term. Labor service provided here-in are warranted against defects in installation workmanship from the date of replacement for 30 days or, if longer, for the remainder of the original installation warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end-user purchaser.
CLEAR IT SECURITY Extended Warranty Options
Most products sold by and professionally installed by CLEAR IT SECURITY are eligible for our extended warranty coverage. Extended warranties are available to extend the coverage for unexpected failure beyond the original warranty length. Most warranties must be purchased at the time of product purchase. Extended warranty details including coverage and plan costs are on a per item basis. Please check with your sales consultant for more information.
WARRANTY/EXCHANGE/RETURN SERVICE
In the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unopened product for a replacement, exchange or refund of the purchase price if the following conditions are met:
- The Product was purchased directly from CLEAR IT SECURITY and it is a returnable item.
- The original or a copy of the invoice/sales order from CLEAR IT SECURITY is provided.
- The returned products are unopened, sealed and in like-new resalable condition.
- Return requests are submitted within 14 days of original purchase.
- Your RMA# must be clearly marked on the outside of the packaging.
- All returns must be post-marked within 7 days of an RMA# issuance.
- Customer is responsible for all costs associated with returning product to CITS.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
To request a replacement or refund, please fill out the Warranty Request Form provided by CITS to obtain a Return Material Authorization Number. All returns must be pre-authorized by the CITS Customer Service Department.
Once your return request is approved, CLEAR IT SECURITY will issue you an RMA# to include with your return. You will be required to return the defective product together with proof of purchase to CITS. The RMA number should be clearly written on the outside of the package containing the product being sent to CITS. CITS will not accept a return that does not have a RMA number on the outer packaging.
As stated above, the customer shall bear the cost of shipping the product to CITS. CITS will cover the cost of shipping the product back to the customer after the completion of server under the limited warranty. Any product returned to CITS without an RMA number or proof of purchase will be returned to the customer at the customer’s cost. Unsolicited returns will not be refunded and will be returned.

EXCLUSIONS
CLEAR IT SECURITY’s Limited Product and/or Installation Labor Warranty does not cover misuse, accident, acts of God (i.e. lightning, hail, water, storms or electrical surges) or abuse; damage to any non-CLEAR IT SECURITY product, including, but not limited to device damage or loss of data; product purchased through unauthorized re-sellers; promotional items; or incidental or consequential damages. You specifically agree that CLEAR IT SECURITY shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages for breach of any warranty of any type on any CLEAR IT SECURITY product or service. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations of exclusions may not apply to you.
Except as set forth above, CLEAR IT SECURITY makes no express or implied warranties and CLEAR IT SECURITY will, at its sole option, replace any defective product with the same product or one of equal or lesser value during the warranty term. Replacement products provided under here under are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of replacement for 90 days or, if longer, for the remainder of the original warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end-user purchaser. expressly disclaims any and all warranties including any warranty of quality, merchant-ability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation on how long an implied warranty may last, so the above limitations of exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state (or by country or province).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall CLEAR IT SECURITY, its Officers, Directors, Distributors, Suppliers, or Agents (collectively “company”) be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of any CLEAR IT SECURITY product, including, without limitation, device damage, data loss, or loss of use of any product, even if company has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding any damages that you might incur for any reason whatsoever (including, without limitation, all damages referenced herein and all direct or general damages in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise), the entire liability of company shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the product. Some states and/or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
CONSUMER PROTECTION
For consumers who have the benefit of consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence, that cannot be disclaimed as set forth above (“consumer laws”), the benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such consumer laws. To the extent that liability under such consumer laws may be limited, CLEAR IT SECURITY’s liability is limited, at its sole option, to replace the product.
